This year we are making a number of changes that we hope will improve your experience as participants and parents. Please carefully review the points noted below and make sure you follow these as well as be familiar with the rest of the rules posted on the website.
The competition will start at 9:00 am sharp and we hope to have the awards presentation at 3:30 pm.
We have staggered reporting times for each group and category in order to reduce the waiting time for children.
All children in each category will need to check in at their reporting time.
Once a category starts, participants in that category will not be permitted to enter or leave that room until every child in that category has completed their performance.
Visitors and parents will also not be permitted to walk in and out of the performance areas during each category session.
Participation certificates will be given out at the end of each category session as the children exit the performance area.
Observing these rules will also enable us to create a better ambience for the children to perform and ensure that every child is given the attention and courtesy they each deserve. If you have children simultaneously performing in separate rooms, we suggest that one parent stay in each room rather than trying to jump back and forth. Once your child has finished performing, they may leave and return at 3:00 PM ahead of the awards ceremony. You are welcome ofcourse to stay and fully enjoy every aspect of the day’s events.
There will be a 30-minute music entertainment at the end of the competition while the judges tally the totals and get the awards and certificates ready.
The awards will be announced and presented by the judges after the music interlude.
A limited number of lunches will be available for purchase. Tokens must be purchase in the morning on a first come basis.
For families coming from other cities. We welcome you. There will be a special volunteer available to answer your questions and help you find places to eat and such.
